ABOUT SHEA
I grew up on a hobby farm in the heartland of Minnesota with dogs, cats, horses, and goats. I can’t remember a time when I haven’t been surrounded by pets! I started horseback riding lessons at the age of 7 and became a member of one of our local 4H clubs when I was 10 yrs old. Where I learned horsemanship, horse care, showmanship and I was in the top five at the state level as a horse conformation Judge. I showed my Arabian horse in many statewide open horse shows for several years. After college, I owned my own horse and I still love riding horses today!
My motivation for starting No Worries! Pet Service was my own dog, a miniature Australian Shepard named Rugby. When I learned he wasn’t eating and had major anxiety attacks when I left him in a boarding facility or with relatives when I traveled for work. Then I tried having a friend come to my home and feed & play with him twice a day when I was gone. I was worried at first, but when I learned he was eating, playing and even sleeping in my bed, I knew he was a changed dog! He was happier at home in his familiar environment. That’s when I felt a need to change my career path and follow my passion for animals, so I opened No Worries! Pet Service. I am now very happy helping my clients care for their animals in their own homes with someone they can trust to look after them.
